According to a new poll from crypto exchange KuCoin, non-industry experts interested in exploring blockchain opportunities are extremely enthusiastic. The appeal of the Web3 career sector, according to the participants, is its flexibility, growth prospects, and future prospects in the emerging industry.
Researchers discovered that over half of their interviewed respondents — 3,608 internet users on Twitter and LinkedIn who were aware of Web3 — are interested in learning more about Web3 as a profession option.
Aside from determining interest in Web3 opportunities, the researchers investigated what attracts people to work in the space. When asked what they find appealing about Web3 job titles, respondents mentioned perks such as room for development and innovation and flexibility at work.
According to the survey, demographics suggest that Web3 jobs are more appealing to younger people. More than half of the respondents said they were happy with their work in the Web3 space.
Another factor that may be contributing to the attention in the field is the industry’s bright future. On July 22, a report by the Boston Consulting Group predicted that crypto would have 1 billion users in 2030.
This indicates that the Web3 sector is still in its infancy compared to internet use. Meanwhile, in June, an investment company looked into millennial investors’ investing habits.
According to a recent survey in the United States, more millennials have invested in crypto than mutual funds, further suggesting that younger investors are more receptive to new investment possibilities.
